The “pokemon brilliant diamond marking map” is a game in the Pokémon series that allows players to catch Mesprit. This guide will show you how to get Mesprit in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
Only a few Pokémon, if any, have the distinction of retaining my true, fierce hate. Mesprit, a legendary Pokémon from Generation IV, is one of them, and anybody who has played the original Diamond and Pearl would understand why. Mesprit, unlike its contemporaries Uxie and Azelf, isn’t happy to simply sit around and fight you. No, sir, it’s going to be tough. It’s quite tough. Here’s how to catch Mesprit in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl so you don’t have to go through the same ordeal I did.
You may meet the three Lake Guardian legendaries in their separate lake cave homes throughout Sinnoh once you complete the game’s plot. The cave in Lake Verity is home to Mesprit in particular. When you first come into touch with Mesprit, however, instead of engaging in combat, it will flee and begin roving Sinnoh. At best, this may be a somewhat unpleasant procedure; at worst, it can be an excruciating fight of attrition.
In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, how can you get Mesprit?
Mesprit may be found in the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl games.
- The Poketch Company in Jubilife City sells the Marking Map app.
- Go back and forth between any Route that links to a city until the map reveals Mesprit’s symbol in the Route’s area.
- Run through the dense grass until you come to Mesprit.
- Use techniques to prevent it from fleeing and wear it down until you can trap it.
Company Poketech
You’ll need a specific Poketch app, the Marking Map, before we can begin the quest. You may get it from the President of the Poketch Company at their Jubilife City offices. When wandering Pokémon such as Mesprit are present, the Marking Map displays their whereabouts in the globe. The issue is that if you use Fly or transition between two places, it will warp to a different random location, so you’ll have to roll the dice a few times to get everything to sync.
Mesprit’s Icon may be found along a route.
Technically, you may accomplish this on any Route that links to a city, but the route connecting Floaroma Town, Route 205, and Valley Windworks is the simplest since it allows you to shift between numerous locations rapidly. Save your game and pop a Repel when the tracker symbol is in the same location as you. Mesprit will appear if you wander about in the thick grass for a while.
The problem is that Mesprit is a runner. It’ll just scamper away and resume wandering as soon as its time comes around. There are two ways to catch it: simple and difficult. The simple solution is to utilize a Master Ball. I understand that using the Master Ball on anything other than the legendary mascot isn’t exactly thematically suitable, but believe me when I say that it’s the quickest way to terminate this dreadful procedure.
Mesprit is being pursued.
Prepare for agony if you’ve already used your Master Ball. First and foremost, you must have a large supply of PokéBalls of all varieties. If you’re doing this at night, use Ultra Balls, Timer Balls, and Dusk Balls. Because Mesprit is slick, don’t expect to hit it on the first try. Second, you’ll need Pokémon that can stop it from fleeing. You’ll need a Pokémon that can use Block or Mean Look, since both will stop you from escaping. Pokémon having the Shadow Tag ability may be used here as well.
Finally, you’ll need Pokémon capable of wearing down Mesprit without knocking it out. The move of preference for this procedure is False Swipe, however any move that causes paralysis or sleep may also assist. It’s also a good idea to use a Dark or Psychic type, anything that can withstand Mesprit’s Psychic attacks.
As soon as the battle begins, use Mean Look or Block to prevent Mesprit from fleeing, then begin the process of wearing it down. If you knock it out, the entire thing will be ruined. Remember to reapply the Mean Look or Block every few rounds to keep them from wearing off. Start pelting Mesprit with Ultra Balls and Dusk Balls whenever his health is low. Timer Balls are also a fantastic alternative if the battle drags on.
With any hope, one of those balls will ultimately stay, putting an end to the ordeal. Hopefully, you’ll do this fast and avoid spending days attempting to catch the floating jerk like I did back in the day.
