Battle System:

Battles may be played with or without the “Turn Timer” option activated, which gives players 4 minutes every turn when enabled. to make a choice and execute their action.
This new fighting system also includes two battle modes: open and closed. Randomizers fight against each other in Open Mode without being able to view each other’s teams or move choices ahead of time. This adds to the unpredictability by making it harder for opponents to plan their strategy against one other’s teams. Closed Mode allows players to see one other’s teams ahead of time and prepare appropriately before entering combat.
Mega Evolution:
Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire featured a new gameplay element called Mega Evolution that allowed trainers to Mega Evolve certain Pokémon during combat. To Mega Evolve a Pokémon, the trainer must have the Mega Stone for the Pokémon they want to evolve. If the trainer possesses the proper stone, they may choose ‘Mega Evolution’ during combat, and their Pokémon will change into its more powerful mega form.
This adds an interesting new dimension to combat strategy and enables players to further personalize their squads. Furthermore, certain mega evolutions may only be obtained via special events or post-game content.
