The ROG Rapture GT-AX6000 is a new premium WiFi 6 router from ASUS. It has two 2.5 Gbps ports with a total throughput of 6,000 Mbps. On the 5 Ghz band, it supports up to 4,804 Mbps, and on the 2.4 Ghz band, it supports up to 1,148 Mbps. A 2.0 GHz 64-bit quad-core Broadcom CPU and next-generation Broadcom WiFi 6 chipsets power it. One of the 2.5 Gbps ports may be used for LAN or WAN, with a WAN bandwidth of up to 3.5 Gbps.
With WAN aggregation, a 2.5 Gbps port may be paired with a 1 Gbps port to release up to 3.5 Gbps of WAN bandwidth, which is fast enough for even the most cutting-edge ultra-high-speed ISPs. WiFi 6 or the second 2.5 Gbps connection in LAN mode may be used to share this huge internet capacity.
Users may utilize LAN aggregation to combine two 1 Gbps LAN ports to form a 2 Gbps LAN connection, which is ideal for providing more bandwidth to heavy-duty network devices like a suitable NAS or desktop PC.
