Every generation, the videogame industry has seen a new influx of innovators. From Nintendo to Sega and Sony, developers have pushed boundaries with gameplay that pushes gamers outside their comfort zones while providing more engaging experiences than ever before. With this surge in creativity comes an equally large number of games vying for your attention. Trying to decide which game you should play next? Check out our ranking on the best gaming titles 2018!
The “panda global rankings” is a tool that allows for the player to see their current rank on the leaderboard. It also allows for comparing your rank with other players.
Since the game’s inception, over a thousand skins have adorned the Rift.
Each skin is distinct in its own right. There are skins that are appreciated for their meme-worthy qualities – ahem, Little Devil Teemo – and then there are skins that are so wicked that they make you want to main the champion, even if you’ve never played them before.
It goes without saying that not all skins are created equal.
There are some for which we would sell all of our LPs, but there are others for which we would…
It probably belonged in the dustbin of the design team.
You’ve arrived to the correct site if you’re looking for information on the “sell ya LP for them” skins. My top selections for the finest League of Legends skins of all time are listed below.
Make sure you have your wallet on hand!
Teemo, the Little Devil
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Date of Publication: October 19th, 2016 1350 RP is the price.
Teemo is a little Yordle with a huge name. He’s known for being League’s most despised champion.
Even more despised than a Yasuo with a score of 0/10.
And it’s easy to see why.
Poisonous arrows that eat away at your mind?
Mushrooms that consume all of your HP?
When you hear an ear-splitting giggle, it makes you want to slam your keyboard.
What makes you think you won’t fall in love with him? (Warning: sarcasm is present.)
Teemo finally got the skin that should’ve been his standard model in 2016, thanks to Riot.
Teemo, the Little Devil
Teemo gets transformed into a devil with this skin, which includes miniature horns, a pitchfork, and a diabolical crown.
His mushrooms, too, have a devilish appearance. Their ugly grins will undoubtedly haunt my dreams for the rest of my life.
Darius, the Dunkmaster
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Released on October 12th, 2014, with a retail price of 1820 RP
The guy, the myth, the legend: good ol’ Dunkmaster Darius is up next.
Dunkmaster Darius is one of the greatest League of Legends skins available, and not only because of its incredible movements and style, but also because it’s so much fun to play with!
You get to slam your opponents as Darius delivers amusing voice lines like:
“You’re being chased by the dunk train.”
“Was it all suffering and no benefit in your plan?”
And, of course, there’s the old standby: “You want a piece of the D-man?”
Darius is also one of the game’s very few “pay to win” skins.
Simply wearing this skin will cause your adversaries to tilt as soon as you reach the Rift.
Leona, the 13th Solar Eclipse
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Date of Publication: November 27th, 2018 1820 RP is the price.
Leona, the Radiant Dawn, is a champion who wields the power of the sun.
Unfortunately, her initial form doesn’t quite represent this — she seems to be infused with some gleaming extraterrestrial goop.
Leona, the Solar Eclipse:
Leona is transformed into the pinnacle of “Radiant Dawn” because to this skin.
When Leona fights, this skin equips her with a complete body armor that emits a burst of flaming sun energy.
Her shield and sword both seem to be powered by an eclipse, and her chest plate is etched with the sun.
Her emotes and animations are similarly outstanding – solar inspiration can be found all over the place.
Solar Eclipse Leona, in all honesty, forced me to abandon my main (soz Rakan) for a few weeks.
The only reason I stopped playing her and started praising the sun was because of her.
It wasn’t meant to be, with a KDA of 0/10/0!
12. The Business World
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Released on September 12th, 2010 with a retail price of 1820 RP
The business world is hectic, uncomfortable, and tedious.
Corporate Mundo is the skin for you if you’ve ever wished you could run away from all your obligations or smash your overbearing boss in the head with your briefcase.
He actually allows you to do this while wearing a nice suit.
He also has the finest walk motion in the game, with a swagger that says, “I’m not working overtime this week, and you can’t force me.”
Such wonderful bravery.
Oh, and PROJECT: Vayne, your motorbike pales in comparison to Corporate Mundo’s vroomin’ tiny automobile.
Urgot in Pajama Guardian Cosplay
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
On April 1st, 2020, the film will be released. 1350 RP is the price.
LoL gamers have been begging Riot for Star Guardian Urgot for years — and I mean years.
They objected.
They prayed together.
They created fanart and idea concepts for Star Guardian Urgot.
Finally, after months of pressure and persuasion, Riot caved down and handed us the finest Star Guardian skin of all time:
Urgot in Pajama Guardian Cosplay.
Okay, so it’s not quite a Star Guardian skin, but it’ll do for now!
This skin turns Urgot into a magical lady, then adds some sparkles and an adorable kitty helmet to complete his outfit.
The fact that his vocal lines do not alter adds to the appeal of this skin.
He’ll be yelling while dressed as a magical girl:
“I’ll just put my hand around their necks and control them.”
and
“Eternal suffering, mhm… Wonderful.”
Pure hilarity.
Lee Sin, the Storm Dragon
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
On October 1st, 2020, the film will be released. 1820 RP is the price.
As a champion, I despise Lee Sin, but if he’s wearing this skin?
I can’t bear the thought of hating him in the least.
Lee Sin, the Storm Dragon, seems to be a huge badass capable of slaying Thor.
His awe-inspiring features have won me over time and time again – evidently something he excels at, since he was able to persuade the great Aurelion Sol to grant him the power of the storm.
His emotes are also rather amusing, which just adds to his allure.
In one emote, for example, he attempts to call a tremendous storm but instead summons…
a single raincloud that fully drenches him *cue sorrowful music*
In another, he executes push-ups using lightning “laser beams” from his eyes rather than his hands.
Who could forget, of course, his most renowned emote: his dance?
Yes, you’ll get to witness Lee Sin grooving to some amazing rhythms with this skin.
9. Lucian’s High Noon
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
The 30th of August, 2018 was the date of publication. 1820 RP is the price.
12:00 p.m. Lucian adds a touch of refinement to the Rift’s Wild West.
But it’s not only the fantastic Western atmosphere that makes this skin so great. It’s the fact that it turns Lucian into a demon in disguise that’s the problem.
Nope. I’m not referring to his demeanor. He’s a demon in every sense of the word.
He proudly wears a sheriff’s badge and fights for “justice” on the outside.
But what about on the inside?
He’s a ferocious demon that can’t wait to annihilate everyone who dares to oppose him.
While his entire demonic appearance is only seen in his recall and ultimate, there are certain minor nuances in his skin that hint at his actual nature.
When he fights, for example, infernal smoke trails trail after him, and his guns illustrate his sheriff/devil dichotomy; one is visibly perverted and taken from Satan, while the other has an angelic appearance.
The nicest aspect of this skin, though, has to be the ulting chuckle he produces.
It’s more diabolical than Teemo’s and downright badass.
Soraka, the Dawnbringer
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Date of Publication: December 12th, 2019 1820 RP is the price.
Dawnbringer Soraka is the ultimate of visual candy: from her magnificent hair to her magical glowing staff, she is stunning in every way.
She has the appearance of a heavenly goddess.
She also possesses a pair of magical wings that would make Anivia jealous.
But what makes this skin one of the top ten best-selling skins of all time?
It features an emote that, in the most godly manner imaginable, pays tribute to the “death by banana” meme:
The emote creates a massive floating banana for everyone to see.
Are you ready for a celestial goddess vs. banana power move? What’s not to like about that?
Thresh of Spirit Blossom
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
On July 22nd, 2020, the film will be released. 1820 RP is the price.
Thresh may be a nasty soul-sucking abyss monster, but who says he has to look like one?
Thresh transforms into a lovely, body pillow-worthy husbando from a fantasy realm when he wears this skin.
He has lovely flowing hair instead of shackles.
He’s got a groovin’ soul-hungry sprite instead of a scythe.
Rather of a nightmare-inducing skull head, how about this?
The regal grin of a royal.
The unlocking toggle ability to swap between his human and demon forms is what makes this skin so cool (which, btw, is just as aesthetic).
In essence, you’re getting two skins for the price of one.
Yone, Dawnbringer
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
The film will be released on September 23rd, 2021. 1820 RP is the price.
Sorry, Yasuo, but due to Dawnbringer, your brother has completely surpassed you in terms of appearance.
Although Dawnbringer Yone is a legendary skin, it has the feel of an ultimate.
It combines light and darkness in the same way as High Noon Lucian does, but with significantly more complexity.
Every animation is a work of art, and you can clearly feel the struggle inside him between good and evil, particularly when he uses his E: the body left behind is a corrupted monster, but the true soul is clean and heavenly (symbolic, much?).
To top it off, his ultimate ability seems to be a final boss move.
5. Vayne’s Project
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Date of Publication: November 22nd, 2017 1820 RP is the price.
PROJECT: Vayne is getting closer to the top of the rankings.
Vayne’s badassery is amplified tenfold with this skin.
She wears cyberpunk-style equipment, including a holographic helmet and a dazzling cape, and has an ult that turns your screen into her own HUD.
Her skills have a holographic aspect to them, which adds to the enjoyment of every encounter.
PROJECT: Vayne’s motorbike, however, is what really distinguishes her as one of the finest League of Legends skins.
Yep.
She may summon a motorbike and ride it across the map by revving it up.
It’s amazing, it’s entertaining, and it’ll allow you fulfill a boyhood fantasy of riding a motorbike for a fraction of the price.
Garen, the God-King
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Date of Publication: June 27th, 2018 1820 RP is the price.
God-King is the only Garen skin that conveys the Demacian might as well as God-King does.
This skin speaks of a proud and honorable monarch who is hellbent on protecting his people.
His drab armor is changed with a striking white armor with gold accents and a flowing cloak suited for a king.
When he fights, his armor illuminates as well, as though bolstered by the Demacian people’s will.
Apart from his armor, God-King Garen’s sword is straight out of Excalibur — it’s massive, eye-catching, and appears powerful enough to slash through a mountain (or two).
Of course, the furry friend that battles by his side, the lion spirit, is what actually makes God-King Garen one of the greatest League skins.
The lion is both a ferocious and a lovely creature.
There is no prettier in-game expression than Garen picking up the lion and dancing with it, wiggling its little paws.
3. Jhin Dark Cosmic
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Date of Publication: June 13th, 2019 1820 RP is the price.
Jhin is described as a “meticulous criminal psychopath” who considers murder to be an art form.
Dark Cosmic Jhin takes things a step further:
He’s now an interplanetary creature bent on annihilating anybody who stands in his path, whether it’s stars, galaxies, or Astronaut Teemo (rip lil Yordle).
This skin has a lot to love (or be horrified by).
He wears a terrifying mask – truly, that eye is terrifying – and has four hideous arms (that has to be four, right?) and armor that appears like it belongs in a dismal sci-fi movie.
Despite his terrible appearance, his talents reflect his view that murder is an art form; his assaults conjure flowering flowers and gleaming stars.
The ult is also just stunning.
The whole Rift becomes a cosmos, complete with planets, asteroids, and constellations.
Dark Comic Jhin is the one – ahem, four for you if you want to be taken into space or just want to play a hotter (though more nightmare-inducing) version of Thanos.
2. Lux Elementalist
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Date of Publication: November 28th, 2016 3250 RP is the price.
It might be difficult to decide which skin to dress up your favorite champion in.
But what if you’re a Lux devotee?
You’re in fortunate since you don’t have to choose just one.
After all, the Elementalist skin comes with not one, not five, but ten different skins to experiment with in-game.
You may switch them out at any point throughout the game, enabling you to blast your opponents to smithereens in a different manner each time.
Each skin form has its own color and theme, which makes sense given the materials, yet they all have a wonderful, fairy-like feel about them.
Oh, and when using this skin, you’ll definitely feel like the Avatar (move over, Aang).
The fire element shape is my particular fave. It’s badass, blazin’, and she’s dressed like a lethal queen!
DJ Sona is number one.
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
On the 25th of February, 2015, the film was released. 3250 RP is the price.
Let’s be honest:
After a while, The Rift’s soundtrack becomes a little… monotonous and uninteresting. The announcer’s monotonous voice isn’t exactly inviting to dance in.
But what if you have DJ Sona?
As you slay the enemies, the Rift morphs into a groovy disco that will keep you groovin’.
Simply said, Sona plays the part of a future DJ, allowing you (and your whole squad) to jam out to three different songs.
The skin is not only beneficial to your ears, but it is also pleasing to the sight.
Everything about it makes you feel like you’re at a cyberpunk party.
DJ Sona’s soundboard is equally stunning as it blasts music, and her Hatsune Miku-inspired hair moves to the rhythm.
Even the way she moves changes in response to the music.
Why don’t you put on some airy, relaxing music? DJ Sona will swing side to side slowly, as if she’s still in champ choose and the battle hasn’t begun.
However, how about some techno beats? She’ll smack her head as if she’s just won a penta.
This skin is also quite strong, and not only because it makes everyone in the game tap their feet in real life.
It also detangles your teammates right away:
If one of your allies is determined to take it down in the middle, DJ Sona’s pleasant song will quickly zap their toxicity and transform them into a pumped-up and driven ally.
Seraphine, without a doubt, stole Sona’s thunder.
DJ Sona, on the other hand, is still the life of the party and the queen of the dance floor in my view.
Note that this material was made utilizing Riot Games’ “Legal Jibber Jabber” policy and Riot Games’ assets. This project is neither endorsed or sponsored by Riot Games.
